T160 Solar Collector
A unique technology
The T160 is a mid-sized parabolic concentrator for heat generation over temperatures up to 160 degrees Celsius. The collector generates heat by concentrating incoming sunlight onto a receiver tube, where the heat transfer fluid circulates. The T160 solar collectors are installed in units of four collectors, on special tracking beams. Each such unit is called a solar collector group. The groups are installed at a certain distance, to allow efficient service and quick installation. Tracking beams contain an active tracking system that allows the solar collectors to track the sun during normal operation.

Tracking system
Thanks to a tracking system, the collector is able to self-orient in order to have the best exposure to the sun throughout the day. This rotation system is also used to allow the T160 to clean itself by rotating.

Used in Europe and increasingly recognized worldwide, “Solar Keymark” certifies the durability and performance of the product as well as its resistance to external events (such as wind, hail, storm, overheating).
ICC-SRCC™ Certification
Solar Rating & Certification Corporation is the primary certification and standardization organization for solar heating and cooling products in North America, in accordance with ISO/IEC 17065. The certification shows that the technology meets the requirements of the United States market. States, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean.
Solar Impulse Certified
The Solar Impulse Efficient Solution label is designed to highlight existing solutions that are both clean and cost effective. The label is awarded to products, services and/or processes that combine credible environmental and economic performance, while outperforming common options in their market.
